Style Diaries- Winter White

For today’s style diary post I wanted share some outfit inspo for winter!  I love winter neutrals and think they look so chic.  To do winter white the correct way you want to wear off-white, don’t wear anything that’s true white.  True white is associated with spring and summer, so make sure the whites you chose for a winter outfit are off-white, ivory, ecru, or snow.  Snow is one of my favorite winter white colors!

For this look you’ll start with a classic pair of straight leg jeans and an off white turtle neck sweater.  Next, layer an off-white long coat on top and add a soft scarf.  Make sure your scarf doesn’t have fringe.  We want the look to be streamlined and the fringe would throw off the balance.  Finish the look with a neutral crossbody and the cherry on top- faux lace up ankle boots.  I’m in love with these boots, the Victorian vibes are calling my name!

Don’t be afraid to mix slightly different shades of off-white for this look.  You don’t want it to look too matchy matchy! Several different shades within the same color family will actually make the outfit look more sophisticated and interesting!  I hope you love this minimalist chic winter white outfit!
